What You’ll Do:
- Research, prototype, and design features for data-rich applications used in manufacturing.
- Conduct user and usability testing to validate and refine your designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including users, product owners, business analysts, and engineers, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Partner with other designers, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the quality of design across the team.
- Work on a team of product managers, engineers, and other UX designers for feature support.
- Create design specs for the features, mostly in the analytics space.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in user-centered design, demonstrating hands-on involvement throughout the entire design process, from user research to prototyping and implementation.
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, personas, and use case development.
- A passion for understanding diverse user groups and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-friendly solutions.
- Solid understanding of information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design principles.
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
- Experience with promoting and conducting usability testing and user research.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch or Figma.
- Candidates will need to have 5-7 years of industry experience.
- A mathematics background could be helpful.
- Candidates must include a link to their portfolio in the resume. The portfolio should showcase any sort of experience with any enterprise applications that are data heavy as well as demonstrated design skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the manufacturing domain or statistics.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.84 to $67.61 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
