This role offers a unique opportunity to blend your passion for user-centered design with the power of technology. You will be instrumental in shaping the way users interact with critical manufacturing data, driving efficiency and informed decision-making.

What You’ll Do:

• Research, prototype, and design features for data-rich applications used in manufacturing.
• Conduct user and usability testing to validate and refine your designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including users, product owners, business analysts, and engineers, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Partner with other designers, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the quality of design across the team.
• Work on a team of product managers, engineers, and other UX designers for feature support.
• Create design specs for the features, mostly in the analytics space. 

Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in user-centered design, demonstrating hands-on involvement throughout the entire design process, from user research to prototyping and implementation.
• A portfolio showcasing your expertise in delivering wireframes, UX flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, personas, and use case development.
• A passion for understanding diverse user groups and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear, user-friendly solutions.
• Solid understanding of information architecture, design patterns, and interaction design principles.
• Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Experience with promoting and conducting usability testing and user research.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch or Figma.
• Candidates will need to have 5-7 years of industry experience.
• A mathematics background could be helpful.
• Candidates must include a link to their portfolio in the resume. The portfolio should showcase any sort of experience with any enterprise applications that are data heavy as well as demonstrated design skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with the manufacturing domain or statistics.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60.84 to $67.61 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
