Aquent has an EXCITING opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in San Francisco!

This role is 100% on-site.  For this reason, we are only considering candidates who currently live in the San Francisco Bay area and can commute to our client’s location on a daily basis.

In addition, to be considered for this role, you must:

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Have a current State of California Pharmacy Technician License

As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients. 

Responsibilities:

• Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance. 
• Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. 
• Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. 
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Experience:

• Just CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate, PTCB is not required
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician. 
• Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. 
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $21.08 to $23.43 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
