Do you have a knack for creating deliciously perfected beverages? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experiencedCafé Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our team member-exclusive cafe, featuring We Proudly Serve Starbucks beverages and a variety of grab-and-go food options.

OVERVIEW

As a Café Supervisor, you'll be responsible for maintaining exceptional service and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with Starbucks operational protocols, and fostering a positive, efficient work environment for cafe team members. You'll prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages for Sun team members, ensure the beverage bar area is clean and sanitary, paper products are stocked, and place product orders as needed. Additionally, you'll supervise the Barista team, manage schedules and timekeeping, and assist in hiring as needed.

JOB DUTIES

1. Assist with coordinating team member selection and development, and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
2. Oversee daily cafe operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with Starbucks and company guidelines.
3. Train team on Starbucks beverage standards, food handling, and customer service procedures.
4. Greet team members and take orders; prepare and serve Starbucks espresso, coffee, tea and other beverages, as well as various sweet offerings, in accordance to established service standards.
5. Monitor product inventory and manage waste to maintain cost efficiency; ensure grab-and-go food items are properly stored and rotated.
6. Place weekly supply orders, receive and verify vendor deliveries, and stock products as needed; maintain a good working relationship with vendors.
7. Clean, sanitize and maintain beverage bar area, including counters and equipment.
8. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed, including dating and monitoring expiration dates; conduct regular checks to ensure proper food storage and maintenance of equipment.
9. Ensure consistent product availability by keeping adequate inventory; stock and replenish food, beverage, and paper products and utensils as needed.
10. Foster a welcoming and inclusive cafe environment for all team members; address and resolve customer inquiries, feedback, complaints and/or issues in a prompt and professional manner.
11. Perform shift opening and closing duties.
12. Efficiently serve team members by being knowledgeable of offerings.
13. Prepare and serve coffee for large company meetings as requested, including those held at Sun's Innovation Center location.
14. Assist with various administrative duties including ordering products, organizing stock room, coordinating vendors, etc.
15. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year previous supervisor experience in a cafe or food & beverage environment
• 2 years experience in a barista role; Starbucks experience strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation throughout the working day
• Demonstrated leadership abilities
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
• Professional appearance
• Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet
