Goal of the Restaurant General Manager: Responsible for the managing the daily opportunities required by strong leadership and manage the day-to-day operation of hotel outlets. This position is also ultimately responsible for the quality of service provided. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:- Manage the daily operations of the hotel’s restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
- Oversee the restaurant’s budget, marketing plans, and objectives.
- Implement and maintain effective food and beverage sales and marketing programs.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence.
- Address and resolve guest concerns to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain quality control for food and beverage standards.
- Hire, train, and develop staff; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
- Manage payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budgets for beverage operations.
- Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure compliance with health regulations and Hyatt standards.
- Communicate operational needs effectively across departments and attend regular meetings to ensure smooth coordination.
- Cultivate relationships with regular and new guests, promoting the restaurant through personalized interactions and marketing efforts.
- Be visible and hands-on in the operation, setting the tone for service excellence.

- Strong ability to interact with and engage guests, ensuring a high-quality dining experience.
- Proven leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational efficiency.
- Strong communication, motivational, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing high-volume concepts with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to manage inventory, purchasing, and administrative responsibilities.
