The Role
The Director, FFIO Global Product Solutions (GPS) - Alternatives, is responsible for coordinating and leading cross business unit operational activities required for the implementation of new alternative investment products or investment capabilities. Our team is responsible for maintaining and communicating a clear understanding of Fidelity product implementation details, conducting product research, designing implementation playbooks, and coordinating product launch and portfolio configuration programs each with diverse size, scope, and complexity. The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
8+ Years of experience preferred
Effective written and verbal communication
Process, and program management
Experience with fund operations including accounting, valuation, and custody
Investment product knowledge including product pricing, alternative and standard investment vehicle structures, regulatory framework, and distribution
Investment operations including trading, portfolio analytics, performance, and compliance
Portfolio transition management
Transferable skills include risk management, compliance, and project management
The Team
The Director, FFIO Global Product Solutions Alternatives will join a team of 42 customer obsessed fund and investment operations leaders. We strive to create innovative implementation and portfolio transition solutions for our business partners that result in positive outcomes for Fidelity investment products and clients. As part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations, we collaborate with investment operations, trading, compliance, legal, and oversight teams across all Fidelity asset management divisions to bring new products and services to our customers. We foster a culture of quality while embracing pace over perfection when implementing new investment products and capabilities across the Fidelity ecosystem. Global Product Solutions teams view investment and operations challenges as opportunities and enjoy designing client on-boarding and transition strategies that minimize portfolio disruption and transactions costs while improving the customer experience.
