Position Overview
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role in our company's continuous growth, collaborating closely with leaders to recruit talent across various business lines and corporate functions across accounting, finance, IT, acquisitions, development, and other key departments to attract top-tier talent. Your work will extend beyond hiring, as you'll assist our Talent Management team in refining talent acquisition systems, improving reporting, managing special projects, and enhancing our processes. Your experience and insights will significantly contribute to our recruitment success.
The ideal candidate brings strong full-lifecycle recruiting experience within high-growth or real estate environments, with particular depth in Accounting & Finance hiring. This position requires a proactive, relationship-drive approach, and you’ll contribute to refining a best-in-class, recruiting practice.
What You Will Do
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting across corporate functions, including partnering with hiring managers to build job descriptions, identify sourcing channels, screen resumes, conduct interviews, manage scheduling, coach hiring teams, and extend offers — all while ensuring a quality candidate experience.
- Serve as the key point of contact for senior executives to support staffing strategies and craft job descriptions aligned with role responsibilities, qualifications, and business needs across functions such as accounting, finance, IT, acquisitions, and development.
- Specialize in identifying and placing top-tier talent in Accounting & Finance roles, with a deep understanding of financial operations within real estate, construction, and development.
- Partner in a hybrid capacity by working on-site in our Chicago headquarters several days a week to actively engage with hiring managers and corporate teams, build stronger relationships, and better understand departmental needs.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies targeting passive, active, and diverse candidates using job boards, social media, digital marketing, referrals, job fairs, and industry events.
- Support DEI hiring by expanding outreach to underrepresented groups and evaluating sourcing channels to recommend more inclusive and effective practices.
- Know the ins and outs of each position being sourced to assess applicant qualifications objectively and ensure consistent, inclusive screening and candidate slates.
- Collaborate with the Talent Management team to design and optimize recruiting processes, toolkits, and workflows that improve operational efficiency and hiring manager experience.
- Utilize Paycom and iCIMS to streamline workflows, manage pipelines, enhance reporting accuracy, and recommend system or process improvements.
- Build, track, and report on funnel performance, time-to-fill, source quality, and key recruiting KPIs; leverage data to refine strategies and improve service levels.
- Partner with Talent Development to deliver behavioral-based interviewing training and coaching to hiring managers.
- Collaborate with Talent Management leadership to evaluate when third-party search firms are needed for hard-to-fill or highly specialized roles.
- Support special projects across Talent Management, including diversity hiring strategies, compliance updates, process improvements, and technology enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Ideally, you'll have
- At least three (3) years of recruiting experience within a start-up or high-growth setting.
- Specialized recruiting experience in student housing or real estate, with a proven track record of successful placements in accounting, finance, development, investments, or acquisitions.
- A passion for attracting and acquiring top talent and delivering an extraordinary recruitment service.
- Experience managing multiple searches and sourcing strategies for passive candidates.
- Exceptional organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- The ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Advanced knowledge of setting up and utilizing an ATS, assessment tools, and online sourcing.
- Adaptable interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders, from peers to senior executives.

- Experience with Google Suite Programs.

Base Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually. Final salary within this range will depend on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, typically ranging between 5-10% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance.
