Partner with the best
NDE / NDT QC inspector will be responsible for ensuring purchased and manufactured parts meet all quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements in order to deliver the product with the highest quality levels
As a NDE Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Perform NDT inspections in accordance with approved procedures in one or more of the following methods: RT, PT, and VT
- Perform Mechanical Inspections (Dimension and Visual)
- Interpret NDT and Mechanical Inspection results to pass or fail an inspection
- Initiate non-conformance reports (NCR) on all nonconforming parts and assemblies. Ensure that parts meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements
- Work closely with Level III NDT, Level III Mechanical, Weld, and Quality personnel
- Read, understand, interpret, and follow written procedures, instructions, and drawings
- Create, record, and maintain inspection records and documentation
- Perform machine maintenance, housekeeping, and other duties as required
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Associate Degree in a related discipline or High School Diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing with 3 years' experience in NDT
- Previous SNT-TC-1A Level II certification(s) preferred. Certifications from previous employers must be documented and available. ASNT-ACCP certifications are acceptable.
- If you do not currently have the above certification, you must be able to obtain a certification within 6 months of being employed by Baker Hughes.
