We are looking for an individual that can learn the processes and fundamentals of our Fixed Asset Department. This position will help ensure accuracy of our fixed asset inventories and reporting, confirm accurate accrual of sales and use taxes, and verify completion of financial statements.
The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
What You'll Do:
- Actively participate in the month-end close and financial reporting process.
- Review sales and use tax codes for invoices in OnBase and for credit card transactions. Make corrections when necessary.
- Maintain Fixed Asset inventory in Cost Point ERP.
- Process asset additions, transfers and disposals in Cost Point.
- Setting up capital projects in Cost Point.
- Execute/run CP and BO reports to be used on reconciliations and other financial analysis.
- Verify costs are recorded and allocated properly per accounting system design set-up.
- Reconcile balance sheet and income statement balances in financial systems at month-end.
- Complete special projects at the request of financial accounting management and/or SBU/SSU personnel.
- Backup and support of lease accounting process.
- Complete monthly journal entries.
- Support monthly account reconciliations.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Have a mission-focused, can-do attitude.
- Compile data for government property tax accrual.
- Ensure that all business is conducted using the highest ethical standards and in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations as well as company policies and directives.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS/BA in related field.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience in fixed assets, accounts payable or general accounting.
- Knowledge of Costpoint, OnBase, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Lease Accelerator.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $55295 - $94001

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
