The Customer Data Technology group within Fidelity's Personal Investing (PI) organization is seeking a Software Engineer to build and maintain large scale data processing systems. In this role, you will apply variety of technologies to develop innovative Big data solutions. This position is a critical element to delivering Fidelity's promise of creating the best customer experiences in financial services.
The Expertise we're looking for
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required.
* 6+ years of experience in implementing Big data solutions using cloud services (AWS preferred) in data analytics space
* Expertise in Object Oriented Programming (Java, Springboot, Python) and building micro services (REST APIs, GraphQL APIs) in AWS.
* Experience Python with the exposure to some of Python's ML ecosystem (NumPy, panda, Skitlearn, TensorFlow, NLP etc.)
* Experience in Relational (AWS RDS, Oracle & Postgres) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Elastic search, Graph database) and in-memory technologies (Elastic Cache, Redis etc..).
* Experience developing event-driven/stream processing applications using messaging technologies (SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Kafka, Lambda etc..).
* Hands on experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, Github, Docker)
* Understanding deploying the ML models using AWS Sagemaker.
* Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM)
