THE POSITION
The Senior Director Finance - BAP will lead financial planning and forecasting for the global, multi-industry business for new product innovation as well as software across Honeywell. You will be responsible for reporting results and analyzing business performance, including the preparation of executive level communications and presentations. Your team partners closely with functional leaders to drive optimal financial outcomes.
This role reports directly to the VP Chief Financial Officer - Technology & HCE and is based in Atlanta, GA.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Technology and HCE BAP Sr. Director will have a broad set of responsibilities that will encompass the following:
* Lead financial aspects of the planning cycle: Strategic Plan (STRAP), Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
* Forecast near-term financial results: Short Range Outlook (SRO)
* Identify performance trends within the business
* Identify and quantify risks and opportunities in current plans and forecasts
* Develop and drive a wide range of financial analyses focused on business trends and evaluation of business performance, projections, reports, and presentations for senior management
* Establish clear, consistent reporting and operating processes - ensuring accurate and timely data availability and insightful, thorough analysis
* Prepare and provide information for presentations for the Honeywell CEO and CFO (e.g., Board of Directors, Executive Leadership, and other meetings)
* Play a critical role in the evolution of Honeywell's overall financial information program, including areas such as management reporting, data management and related systems and processes
* Partner with corporate BAP and IR in communicating HCE results and forecasts
* Oversee and lead the work of other team members
* Manage HCE headquarters costs and budgets
* Partner with functional leaders to optimize financial results
* Special projects as required
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
* 10+ years of finance experience
* Experience driving cross-functional strategic initiatives involving senior leaders (AOP, STRAP, etc.)
* Strong people management skills

* Significant FP&A, ISC, or commercial finance experience
* Enterprise software finance experience
