We are seeking a Client Delivery Specialist to join our team at Standard Chartered Bank in New York. The successful candidate will be working with the Client Management team as well as other team members to drive origination, develop strong client relationships and be seen as an expert in Client Management by internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional client account management by proactively managing client accounts on all day-to-day maintenance, operational, and credit monitoring activities to ensure the highest level of client service, relationship health and strong transaction execution. The candidate will further have to support the team with driving progress on relevant targets to deliver excellent client service, including turnaround times, productivity, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a service partner, work together with RMs, Product Sales, Operations and other key internal stakeholders to solve client channel issues and identify opportunities to improve overall service for the clients
- Deliver excellent service against agreed service standards, delivery standards, and minimal error rates as appropriate
- Provide quality support and advice to Relationship Managers (RM's) within all units on all documentation related matters, including the origination of documentation for customers where required
- Engage clients throughout process, ensuring seamless delivery and client experience
- Own and drive execution of processes, working closely with stakeholders and the value chain to deliver excellent client service, getting clients to the point of ready-to-transact as quickly as possible, across both simple and complex cases.
- Provide insight and suggestions to improving processes, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate. Looks at ways to promote standard work and best practices.
- Respond and clear queries from Checkers / Other Specialists / Business CRM on a timely manner
- Escalate or enforce compliance requirements, and follow any other relevant internal controls and procedures as they relate to process, products, policies and regulations
- Perform credit documentation activities for the deals.
- Conduct checks on Credit Documentation output as applicable
- Ensure that the data sources used for the extraction of the return is correct
- Identify processing risks or inefficiencies and implement appropriate and effective changes

Qualifications
- Strong ability to positively influence stakeholders across value chain to both orchestrate and execute on processes and deliver exceptional client service and experience
- Ability to positively engage and build rapport with clients
- Strong drive to deliver
- Has a clear understanding of the client needs being serviced
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision and able to cope with pressures from tight deadlines
- Problem solver; looks for solutions and finds ways to progress despite blockages
- A team player with good interpersonal skills
- KYC experience in wholesale banking.
- Financial Institutions experience is desired
- US regulatory knowledge is a big plus

Recruitment Assessments
Expected annual base pay range for the role is 73,581 USD to 110,372 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
