Software Engineer Opportunity!

The Opportunity:
You will be joining a highly collaborative Agile team charged with the responsibility of coding, testing, and maintaining ourend-to-end maritime commerce solutions! A great chance to work with other engineers at various experience levels while having the flexibility to wear many hats!
Our Stack:
Most of our applications are developed in C++ and T-SQL. From time to time, we also use C# and TypeScript.
A Closer Look at the Role:
This role will provide opportunities to get your hands on various tasks/technologies such as:
- Design, develop, and support scalable SaaS applications
- Gain knowledge of the complex business requirements and needs of the maritime shipping industry
- Work with Product Management to gather/translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Write high quality,testable code to design, develop and support our existing backend services and front-end code
- Assist your team members through mentoring, code reviews and pair programming
Skills/Experience Needed:
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Experience in developing complex backend services usingC++
- Experience with SQL Server or other relational database systems
- Ability to work on projects in an Agile environment and communicate with stakeholders in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience creating and contributing to architecture design and documentation
- Experience in financial industry or maritime shipping industry
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks
