About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Small Business Banking Relationship Management Manager (LO). As a Small Business Banking Relationship Management Manager (LO) you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with small business banking clients. Individuals have frequent interactions with clients to understand and meet their needs.
In this role, you will:
Manage and develop a team of relationship managers with a focus on customer relationship management, customer experience, acquisition of new customers, deepening of existing relationships, and risk management for Small Business customers (defined as revenue of $1-25MM)
Promote the growth of the business by implementing strategies to increase revenue by onboarding new customers, deepening the relationship with existing customers, and retaining existing credit or deposit balances
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Make decisions and resolve low to moderately complex issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of team to meet business objectives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers in order to build new relationships and grow existing relationships with customers
Create professional teams within functional area through effective selection, training, skill development, motivation, evaluation, and retention of highly skilled and proficient business banking professionals
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for functional area
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member. This position includes assisting customers without taking an application and without offering or negotiating terms of a dwelling secured transaction. Individuals in a LO position also must meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the job expectations below
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Business Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services
Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
Ability to balances needs of clients with associated risks and interests of Wells Fargo
Established network in the local market
Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
A BS/BA degree or higher
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Position will be responsible for visiting customers and prospects outside of the branch location within an assigned market/geography.
Individuals in Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and comply with related Wells Fargo policies. The LO qualification requirements include meeting applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards. A current credit report will be used to assess your financial responsibility and credit fitness, however, a credit score is not included as part of the evaluation. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $206,100.00Benefits
