As a R & O Maintenance Manager here at Honeywell, you
will have the crucial role of overseeing and coordinating maintenance and
operational activities within our organization's physical facilities. Your role
is essential in ensuring the functionality, safety, and proper upkeep of these
facilities, which contributes to the overall efficiency and well-being of the
organization. You will report directly to our Site Director, and you'll work
out of our Shreveport, LA location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the day-to-day management
of facility maintenance and operations. You will be accountable for ensuring
that our facilities are operating safely, effectively and efficiently,
providing a safe and comfortable environment for our employees and customers.
Your expertise in maintenance and people management will not only enhance the
safety, productivity and efficiency of our operations but also contribute to
the overall success of the business. It is imperative that you not only
practice safety but embody it here at the Shreveport location.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce and practice all of site safety protocols
- Drive accountability across the work group maintaining operational discipline.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans, prioritizing tasks to ensure that facilities remain well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and operational
- Participate in budget planning and help manage allocated funds for maintenance activities to achieve cost-effective solutions while maintaining high facility standards
- Monitor the condition and functionality of facility assets, such as equipment and infrastructure, and coordinate repairs, replacements, or upgrades as needed
- Ensure that facilities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, managing necessary permits and certifications, and addressing any compliance issues
- Work with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services, monitoring their work to ensure it meets established standards and is within budget
- Implement energy-saving and sustainable practices to reduce operational costs and minimize the environmental footprint of facility operations
- Conduct regular inspections, quality assessments, and maintenance performance evaluations to maintain and improve facility standards
- Assist in the development and execution of emergency response plans for facility-related incidents, including power outages, natural disasters, and other emergencies
- Work with other departments, senior management, and stakeholders to comprehend their facility needs and provide updates on maintenance activities

YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Maintenance Management
- Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and people-oriented skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Experience with budget management
