Job Description:

Position: Quality Technician
Location: Eminence, KY
Type: Contract to Hire (6 month to permanent)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour to $25.00/hour

Main Responsibilities:

• Performs gauge verifications.
• Audit processes and products.
• Complete necessary documentation on test result reviews and certifications.
• Performs testing on basic dimensional, bending, CMM, conductivity, full GD&T, hardness, hydrogen testing, oil-bugs, oil-tramps, sampling plans, tensile, and titrations.
• Process sorting/inspecting, lab PM, 6S, and TPM.
• Ensures quality on OPLs, training, non-conforming material review, 5W2H, and executing corrective actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds rarely.
• Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel toe boots, metatarsal boots, hearing protection, and gloves.
• Competence in completing detailed part inspections regularly.
• Proficiency in using and reading inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins.
