We are seeking an experienced and engaging Event Sales Manager with a focus on Weddings and the Local Social Market to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As an Event Sales Manager, you will play a key role in selling and planning events, serving as the vital liaison between clients and our dedicated hotel staff to ensure flawless execution of every event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Selling Events: Meet monthly sales quotas and earn quarterly bonuses.
- Client Guidance: Lead clients through their journey of creating memorable experiences with care and attention to detail.
- Sales Administration: Manage sales agreements, ensuring all terms and client expectations are met.
- Event Coordination: Oversee all aspects of food, beverage, and event needs from inception to completion.
- On-Site Event Contact: Be the point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth execution.
- Host Site Inspections: Showcase the venue and its unique offerings to potential clients.
- Menu Tastings: Assist clients in selecting the perfect menu for their event.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Preferably a university degree in hotel management
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel or wedding venue event sales/event planning management or comparable experience preferred
- Sales driven and motivated by booking business
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge. Hyatt’s system knowledge and proficiency is a preferred.
- Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and be able to adapt and to handle a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
