Position Description:
Designs, delivers, and defines Master Data Management (MDM) solutions by setting delivery guidelines. Prepares and reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to the defined solution. Directs the design, development, testing, and deployment of MDM objects -- hierarchies, workflows, match and merge, survivorship rules, data import/export, batch processes, visualization, and user interface design. Delivers architectural artifacts for strategic initiatives, design, and ensures implementation is in adherence to the strategy, architecture, and design.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establishes architectural vision and roadmap.
Partners with Cloud security resources to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates.
Analyzes cost and performance in data solutions or patterns and recommends improvement for optimization.
Researches and recommends new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and standards.
Ensures consistency and compatibility with all other system technology components.
Collaborates with business, implementation, data stewards, and support teams to provide architectural oversight, standards, direction, and mentorship.
Creates master data and process flows to graphically depict the domain master data architecture components.
Reviews environments for efficacy and performance improvement.
Communicates architecture and design details to team members, delivery, architecture, integration governance, support and services, and operations partners.
Resolves complex technical issues as they relate to data architecture, performance, and tools.
Maintains integrity, metadata, and data lineage for data intake processes.
Provides security architecture design implementation.
Monitors compliance to enterprise-level architectural standards.
Provides mentorship with leading practices, governance, standards, and conventions.
Evaluates, prototypes, and recommends emerging Cloud data technologies and platforms from open source or vendors.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) implementing MDM solutions using MDM Reltio Tool (MDM Hub).
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience as a Director, Architecture (or closely related occupation) implementing MDM solutions using MDM Reltio Tool (MDM Hub).
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") performing architecture and delivery of MDM, Data Integration, and System Integration solutions, using MDM Reltio tool and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
DE providing process guidance/recommendation and architecture for data integration and data governance, using MDM Reltio, data discovery, data quality, data lineage, and data governance tool.
DE performing Data Protection/Loss Prevention by assuring role-based access control and encryption, using model data analytics platforms (Snowflake).
DE leading technical teams, bridging the gap between Business and Technology stakeholders, spearheading strategic initiatives and pilot engagements, establishing comprehensive roadmaps, and developing the architectural vision of MDM programs.
