Copywriter

Position Overview
Our client, a well-known beauty brand, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter with beauty experience to join their team on a full-time basis! This role will be onsite in Wilton, CT, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays! Please note this role is not commutable by train.

Responsibilities:

• Create digital copy for websites including landing pages, banners, product pages, ads and transactional flows.
• Devise engaging email campaigns, product descriptions, blogs, video scripts  and promotional material in short, medium and long form copy
• Implement SEO strategies in copy 
• Write compelling video thumbnails, titles, and descriptors
• Develop compelling  copy for Pack Outs: cards, boxes and mailers 
• Routinely view blogs, online magazines and other platforms within the beauty industry to stay on top of trends and new content ideas. 
• Maintain and enhance the brands voice and tone

Requirements: 

• 3-5 years proven success in creating high-converting emails and digital pages In agency or in-house capacity
• Having a journalism background is a major plus
• Comfortable creating punchy short copy, long form blogs, transactional flows, PR and editorial content
• Fast-learner who can master brand voice and product POV to execute consumer-facing copy
• Loves the art of writing and can apply digital formats, character restraints and  SEO tactics
• Beauty experience or a strong interest in the industry
• Retail + Retail copy experience a plus
• Collaborative team-player enjoys group ideation, working with designers and videographers
• Familiar with basic AI prompts, interested in helping build LLM's
• Ability to adapt writing style to fit different formats and target audiences
• Proficient in Google Doc, Word, Excel, Klaviyo and Shopify
