Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is a high-impact opportunity to support senior executives and shape the company's internal communications strategy. You'll be embedded in a dynamic team of nine and work closely with leadership to inform, engage, and inspire employees through strategic communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Communications: Craft compelling written materials including internal posts, speeches, and talking points for senior leaders.

  • Internal Events Management: Plan and execute internal events such as town halls, reorganizations, and leadership updates.

  • Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement internal communication strategies tailored to organizational priorities.

  • Project Management: Lead multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use analytics and feedback to refine communication approaches and measure effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in communications, including 2+ years specifically in internal communications.

  • Proven experience counseling and influencing executives.

  • Strong written communication and editing skills.

  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing internal events.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Background in tech or related industry.

  • Strong business acumen and organizational awareness.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $100/hr to $115/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
