Lake Region Bank has an opportunity for an energetic, detail-oriented person to join our team as full-time Commercial Lender at our Willmar location.

As a Commercial Lender, you will possess a thorough understanding of loan underwriting, be responsible for generating loan production, evaluating loan applications for credit worthiness, and creating loan documentation. This position will have extensive customer contact and will be responsible for all operational aspects for commercial loans in their market and will be responsible for abiding by and keeping up on the Banks lending policies in addition to State and Federal lending regulations and compliance standards while being proactive in obtaining new commercial loan customers.
Applicant requirements include experience as a Commercial Lender, demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, have an innovative outlook to drive continual progress and retention, possess strong credit experience and have a business development mindset. This applicant must be loyal and hard-working and will obtain client relationships and cross sell bank products. Familiarity of the sales, commercial loan processing and closing processes, and ability to multi-task quickly and effectively, and adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance including BSA/AML as well as adhere to the Banks policies and procedures is required.

Essential Functions:
To successfully perform this job, the applicant must be able to perform each essential function and skill satisfactorily.
*Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Possess knowledge of regulations governing commercial lending practices and knowledge of the State and *Federal lending regulations and compliance standards including BSA/AML.
*Process commercial loan transactions and aid with transaction inquiries.
*Be able to analyze financial statements, cash flows, pay records, and tax returns.
*Be proactive in obtaining new commercial loan customers for the bank.
8Maintain a working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to safety and soundness, compliance, and operations.
*Cross-sell the Banks products and services.
*Possess prioritization and organizational skills.
*Be able to work both independently and in a group setting.
*Have a good understanding of general business and financial issues.
Salary range is $75,000-$120,000, based on banking experience and knowledge.
