The Role

The Business Analyst position is part of the Trust Services and Investment Data Team. In this role, you will be member of a dynamic team and strategically directs the business unit's business analysis function and lead multiple projects with diverse scope and complex business problems regarding all aspects of Trust Services projects and service inquiries ensuring successful implementation of solutions. You will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of business problems and the development of solutions that meet business requirements. Your work and creativity will help the team to service and provide solutions to new and existing business and assist in growing our custom fund administration offerings and platforms. This role is based in Boston, MA; Covington, KY; Merrimack, NH; Smithfield, RI; or Westlake, TX.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 3-5+ Years combined experience in project management, information technology or related field
- Proficiency data analysis tools, familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), in MS Office applications and can quickly learn and master internal websites, databases, and applications
- High degree of integrity and strong work ethic; orientation toward results; positive attitude
- Independent problem solver; accountable for and skilled in exercising sound judgment
- Confirmed ability to simultaneously identify, prioritize and address multiple issues and quickly respond to shifts in priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of institutional investment products and their service providers (trustees, investment managers, consultants, etc.)
- Communicate effectively and actively collaborate with others
- You have experience and enjoy using different technology, tools, and applications
- An eagerness to take initiative, show creativity, with a process innovation approach

The Team
The Trust Services and Investment Data, within the Workplace Investing (WI) Financial Operations organization, provides support to Fidelity Management Trust Company (FMTC) legal entity, providing trust and custodial services to defined contribution and defined benefit plans, including custom fund administration, custodial capabilities through third party service providers, trust oversight of proprietary FMTC investment products, FMTC Board governance, client services and administration for custom funds and managing the investment data management of the investment data presented on Fidelity.com and Net Benefits platforms. We also provide investment consultation and expertise to plan sponsors including fund and market analysis, defined contribution plan line up options and performance advice, and thought leadership.
