Job Description:
The Associate Financial Analyst will be a key contributor in the Finance Enterprise Reporting COE, delivering exceptional support services to Fidelity business partners.
The Team
The group is looking to hire an Associate Financial Analyst to support the self-service reporting initiative and regular reporting of Fidelity financial results (revenue, expense, assets & flows, KPIs, etc.). The individual will report to the Director of Finance within the COE team.
The Associate Financial Analyst will be a team player in the COE, providing an evolving suite of services encompassing value-added reporting and analytics through the use of innovative tools, processes and sites to drive continuous improvement in the financial decision making of the firm.
The Expertise You Have
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
- 1 year of work experience within Fidelity is required
- Strong attention to detail and ownership for managing detailed information with high levels of accuracy
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to apply these skills
- Successfully collaborate with business partners and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong interest in technology, visualization tools and business intelligence software

The Value You Deliver
- Preparation of reporting for numerous Fidelity business partners, including relevant variance analysis and supporting commentary
- Preparing daily, weekly and month-end operational reports evaluating and analyzing variances to previous periods, budget and forecast
- Working proactively and collaboratively with finance partners to analyze opportunities to migrate reporting to a self-service platform. You will be partnering with businesses to ensure the information provided through reporting tools, presentations and other communications provides the targeted answers to the pertinent questions/initiatives
- Ensuring proper controls, documentation and reviews are in place to alleviate risks
- Assisting with ad-hoc analysis, reports, and presentation materials in support of senior management
