You will oversee the department's general accounting and administrative functions and activities of the office. This includes supporting the team with a leadership mindset and being knowledgeable in areas such as promoting process improvement, collaboration, and growth among all team members. The Accounts Payable Manager provides department leadership by managing the production of accurate invoice payments, driving successful results, and maintaining an efficient workflow to meet monthly goals and exceed service level agreements. This role is critical to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable department and support the financial health of the organization through effective leadership and process management.

- Lead and mentor the Accounts Payable team, fostering growth and efficient operations.
- Enhance invoice processing through process improvements and automation.
- Resolve discrepancies and collaborate across departments for accurate financial reporting.
- Build strong vendor relationships and manage accounts payable systems (Intacct-Sage).
- Lead and participate in special projects to improve workflows and processes.
- Take on additional tasks to support departmental and organizational goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of accounts payable or similar experience, with proven leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP software, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.
