Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Intern to join the Space Systems Sector. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.
As an intern, you'll participate in an internship program to develop competencies in a variety of engineering specializations that may include:
Roles and Responsibilities
Performs a variety of duties in the Manufacturing areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Basic Qualifications College Technical Intern or
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2025 or
• Be majoring in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks of the Summer 2025
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Basic Qualifications High School Technical Intern:
• Be enrolled full-time in a High School Program and have completed their Senior Year at the start of the internship.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks of the Summer 2025
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
College Technical Intern Pay Range in Dulles, VA:
Bachelor's: $26.75 to $32.50 per hour
Master's: $36.50 to $38.25 per hour
High School Technical Intern Pay Range in Dulles, VA:
Range: $15.00 to $22.50
At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

Salary Range: $1 - $1
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
